The South Korean tech giant, Samsung has finally revealed the price tags of 2016 editions of its Galaxy A series. Named as Galaxy A7 (2016) and A5 (2016). Both handsets will be available for sale in China before the end of December.
Owing to the name appended with 2016, the tech analysts had predicted an early 2016 release. Therefore, this sale is nearly two weeks ahead of the predicted schedule.
However, Galaxy A3 is still in the queue to be listed on the official website. Both Galaxy A7 (2016) and Galaxy A5 (2016) are available on the Official site of Samsung for purchase.
As far as the key specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A7 features a full HD 5.5-inches super AMOLED display with 1080 × 1920 pixel screen resolution. On the other hand, Galaxy A5 sports a full HD 5.2-inches Super AMOLED display with screen resolution of 1080 × 1920 pixels.
Both handsets feature an octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. However, Galaxy A7 sports 3300 mAh battery backup and A5 is powered by 2900 mAh battery.
For camera, both Galaxy A7 (2016) and Galaxy A5 (2016) embrace an LED flash and optical image stabilization supported 13MP primary camera along with a 5MP front-facing snapper designed particularly to capture selfies.
In terms of storage, both smartphones come with a 16GB built-in storage which can conveniently be extended with the help of microSD card up to 128GB. However, Galaxy A7 features 3GB of RAM while Galaxy A5 encompasses 2GB RAM internally.
In addition, both A7 and A5 feature similar connectivity specs that include WI-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1, ANT+ and NFC. The handsets have been released in 4 color variants including white, black, gold and rose gold. Meanwhile, Europe will have to wait until January 8th, 2016 to purchase 2016 edition of Galaxy A series.
Galaxy A7 will set back its users around CNY 2699 whereas A5 will come with a price tag of CNY 2,398.
