While there have been improvements in the way of treating the coronavirus outbreak which has affected a lot of people and processes from all around the world, Samsung is in the news because of this infection today. Apparently, a worker at one of the company’s factories came down with the disease and the factory had to be shut down for that.

This factory is the one where the company makes its foldable devices – both the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip – and they have also made sure to put the other members of staff who met this worker into quarantine.

The shutdown is expected to last just a couple of days till the company can have a handle on the situation and to prevent the occasion of more infections. Likewise, seeing as the foldable units are not mainstream yet, this shutting down won’t do much to set the company off track from its production and supply goals.
