When it comes to smartphone display technology, Samsung has been in a league of its own for a while now. So good are the displays they make that even Apple contracts their screen jobs to the South Korean OEM.
It seems, though, that Samsung is tired of touting the basic AMOLED display and they will now be going for a new model – SAMOLED.
We don’t know what the S stands for yet, but we are sure it won’t be Super since we have one of that in the market already. Likewise, the company has not detailed what it changes on this screen. If past improvements are anything to go by, though, this will be in terms of the viewing angles, blacks and colour gamut that the unit brings on board.
For now, we are sure the new screen will debut on the Galaxy S11 series, and it should make its way to th Note 11 line-up too. Till then, or till we hear more, all we can do its wait
