Recently, reports leaked that Vivo is working on a new smartphone series for China – the Vivo Y53 and Vivo Y53s.
It appears that the launch of these devices is near following the appearance of models of the handsets on a popular Chinese retail platform – JD.com.
The listing on the website revealed that the Vivo Y53 would debut in two variants such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
The document further revealed that the phone would be available in colours like rainbow, sea salt, starry night, and Haiyan.
On the other hand, the listing states that the Vivo Y53s will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options.
The company will announce the Vivo Y53s in colours like classic orange and deep ocean blue.
Interestingly, the Vivo Y53s received approval from certification platforms like BIS and CQC not too long ago.
The smartphone later appeared at Google Play Console, and the multiple certifications suggest that the Vivo Y53s would likely launch soon.
However, the listings mention that the device would feature a display that delivers a Full HD+ resolution and would run on the Android 11 OS.
It would also debut with the Helio G80 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and support for 18W rapid charging.
It appears the Vivo Y53s would debut with improved features over the Vivo Y53 – that remains to be seen after the launch of both smartphones.
