Redmi is also getting in on the gaming smartphone trend and they might be bringing their creation to the market sooner than we expect.
The phone which is codenamed Ares has been teased to have a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset under the hood but we do not know anything other than that. A senior executive at Redmi had also told the market to expect a launch conference in April which is where we expect this new device to make its debut.
Of course, there has been no official confirmation on the unit but all indications point to the company being ready to enter the gaming niche head-on also.
The phone has been teased by executives at Redmi since January and last month, the same exec that made the launch reveal asked that fans wait just a little bit more.
Of course, the phone will hit the Chinese market first and enter India with a POCO branding. From there, it gets to the rest of the world.
Now that we are finally in April, we don’t have to wait too long to see what they have planned for us.
