Recently, Redmi announced that it would hold a launch event to unveil the Redmi Watch 2. And the event will commence by 7 PM in China on October 28. The smart accessory will arrive alongside the much-anticipated Redmi Note 11 series.
The Chinese firm has revealed the official poster of the Redmi Watch 2, and the picture on the poster shows that the upcoming smartwatch will sport a square-shaped display similar to the predecessor model.
Unfortunately, Redmi is keeping a tight lip regarding the specifications of the Redmi Watch 2. But with a week away from launch, the tech brand might release a few details of the watch before it officially breaks cover.
However, speculations say that the Redmi Watch 2 will debut with upgrades on the display, appearance, build, health tracking, sports tracking, and the user interface.
Recall, the Redmi Watch that debuted last year came with a 1.4-inch LCD screen that delivers a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. It packs health tracking features like a sleep monitor and a 24/7 heart rate tracker.
The Redmi Watch could last up to 10 days on a single charge, and it offers the user 11 types of sports activities, GPS, air pressure detection, Bluetooth 5.1, and the ability to resist water up to 5ATM.
Last November, the Redmi Watch arrived in China with a price tag of 269 Yuan (~$42). The Redmi Watch 2 may sell for about the same price.
