Come August 3, Realme will be announcing the Realme V5 smartphone in China. Lately, OPPO launched the OPPO A72 5G smartphone that arrived with the Dimensity 720 5G SoC, making the company the first brand to launch a device powered by the Dimensity 720 chipset.
As it is, the upcoming Realme V5 could be the second device to debut with the Dimensity 720 5G chipset.
The Realme V5’s listing is available on Chinese retail sites like JD.com and Tmall already, so, customers can make reservations ahead of the smartphone’s official launch. The phone’s listing on Tmall revealed the colour choices and variants of the Realme V5.
According to the Tmall listing, the Realme V5 will arrive in Breaking Light, Silver Winged Boy, and Blue colour editions.
Also, the listing did the honours of revealing the RAM variants the smartphone will be available in. The Realme V5 will come in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. Both RAM variants will be accompanied by 128GB of onboard storage.
The Realme V5 will feature a punch-hole design on its 6.5-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display. It sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera in its on-screen punch hole and a quad-camera system on its rear.
The 48-megapixel primary camera on the smartphone’s backside is followed by an 8-megapixel snapper, and a pair of 2-megapixel lenses.
As stated earlier, the Realme V5 will be powered by the Dimensity 720 5G SoC chipset and will come pre-installed with Android 10 operating system.
