Yesterday, Realme India confirmed that it would announce a piece of important information regarding the Realme Narzo 30 series on February 18.
Today, the CEO of Realme India – Madhav Sheth – took to Realme’s official community website to unveil the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G in all of its glory.
The page features a picture of Sheth holding a Narzo 30 series smartphone and a few smartphone boxes are present on a table before him.
The blue-coloured boxes carry the inscription ‘’Narzo 30 Pro 5G.’’. And it appears that he could be holding the same smartphone.
The handset has a rectangular-shaped camera housing that comprises three lenses and an LED flash.
The Narzo brand name is at the bottom right corner of the back panel – this has been a signature design for Realme smartphones.
A few reports claimed that the upcoming Narzo 30 Pro 5G would arrive with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Since the image shared is not too clear, it is hard to tell whether the smartphone does feature a side-fitted fingerprint scanner.
The post he put up on the community page states that the firm will allow selected community members to try its upcoming products before official release.
And the company has chosen five active community members to try out the new Narzo 30 series smartphones.
Rumours have it that the Narzo 30 Pro 5G handset will debut as a revamped version of the Realme Q2 that arrived in China last year.
The Realme Q2 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display. Its screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
It launched with the Realme UI based on the Android 10 OS.
The Realme Q2 features the Dimensity 800U chipset alongside 4GB / 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It offers the user 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage and allows for storage expansion via microSD card.
For lenses, the Realme Q2 comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing snapper.
On the other hand, it packs a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup on its rear side.
For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
A few of the specs of the Realme Q2 are identical with the rumoured details of the upcoming Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G.
It remains to be seen whether the Narzo 30 Pro 5G would arrive as a revamped edition of the Realme Q2.
