Earlier in 2021, Realme mentioned that it will launch its flagship devices in two variants – a performance-focused one and a camera-focused model.
Already, the performance variant debuted in China as the Realme GT. And it has two variants, which include the Realme GT Neo and Realme GT Neo Flash.
After the launch in the Chinese markets, many have been expecting the global arrival of these devices. And today, the company finally announced the global launch date of the Realme phones.
Earlier today, Madhav Sheth – CEO of Realme India and Europe – tweeted the launch information of the smartphone.
He stated that the Realme GT 5G Perfromance Flagship would hit the global markets in June and the Camera Edition in July.
Interestingly, the latter is yet to debut in the Chinese market. And it appears its first appearance would be in the global market.
The performance edition of the Realme GT 5G features a 120Hz Super-AMOLED display that measures 6.43-inches.
It features the Qualcomm-powered Snapdragon 888 chipset. And it offers the user 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
For lenses, it has a 16-megapixel primary snapper and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple rear camera setup.
Inside, it houses a 4,500mAh, which supports 65W fast charging via a USB-C port.
The smartphone also has other attractive features like a headphone jack, stereo speakers, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
