A new Realme device with the model number RMX2189 has bagged approval from China’s CQC, Thailand’s NBTC, and Indonesia’s TKDN and SDPII.
The NBTC certification revealed that the device with the above model number would be called Realme C12. Judging by the name of the handset, it could be a lower version of the recently announced Realme C15 and a higher version of the Realme C11.
The phone’s CQC certification made it known that, besides the smartphone’s support for 10W charging, it will arrive with a 6,000mAh battery. This could be one of the significant differences between this device and the Realme C15.
Furthermore, the TKDN listing showed that the smartphone would come pre-installed with the Android 10 Operating System.
With this many certification, the smartphone could debut anytime soon. As of now, the specifications and details of the Realme C12 are yet to be disclosed. However, the speculated specs are already online.
The Realme C12 may sport an LCD 6.5-inch IPS display.
The screen will feature a water-drop notch and deliver a Full HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and is protected by a Gorilla Glass panel.
Under the hood, the Helio G35 chipset should be in place to power the device. The chipset is coupled alongside 3/4GB of RAM.
Out of the box, the device should come with 64GB of storage. It features a MicroSD card slot as well for storage expansion.
The Realme C12 has a quad-camera system on its backside and an 8-megapixel shooter in the on-screen water-drop notch.
The quad-camera setup is pioneered by a 13-megapixel primary shooter followed by an ultra-wide 8-megapixel lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
