Lovers of the Xiaomi brand, get in here!
The Chinese OEM is working on a new unit and from what are seeing right now, it is shaping up to be one of those powerhouses that they have come to be known for. We don’t have a name yet, but codenamed ‘Blackshark,’ it is believed that the phone can only be linked to Xiaomi who owns a company under the same name.
The AnTuTu Benchmark results revealed that this unit will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset under the hood. That is enough to inform us that it would either be a flagship or top of the shelf unit. Other key specs that came off the leak included the promise of an 8GB RAM CPU and a marvelous display that would use a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixel.
The listing also reveals that the device will run Android 8 Oreo out of the box and pack an impressive 32GB of internal storage. We would have loved to see more on a high-end unit such as this, but the option of a microSD card slot in the build could change our minds again.
This leak supports rumours of Xiaomi working on a mobile phone that they have managed to keep a tight lip on. As more leaks unfold, we will be the first to let you know.
