POCO is ready to release the F2 Pro. The official launch date of the phone is May 12. Rumor has it that the new POCO smartphone is coming as a rebuilt version of the Redmi K30 Pro.
A previous leak by a tech site in Portugal revealed that the new phone would come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 6GB of RAM with 256GB storage space; this implies the POCO F2 Pro will come in two variants in terms of storage capacity.
Recently, a listing for the new POCO F2 Pro was seen on GearBest. The listing showed that the smartphone would come in four color variants-Grey, White, Purple, and Blue. These are the exact four colors the Redmi K30 Pro launched with when it was announced.
Due to the similarity of the POCO F2 Pro with the Redmi K30 Pro, we expect the F2 Pro to launch with a notch-less 6.67-inch AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The POCO F2 Pro is likely to have specs similar to the Redmi K30 Pro.
The device will be powered possibly by the Snapdragon 865 SoC with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 Storage. The battery capacity is expected to be around 4,700mAh with 33W fast charging support.
As for the optics, the POCO F2 Pro will possibly launch with a pop-up 20MP selfie camera and a quad-camera set up at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor, 5MP sensor, 13MP sensor, and 12MP sensor, all housed in a round shape.
Based on reports received from a trusted source, the POCO F2 Pro price will start at €570 for the 128GB storage version.
