Last month, Redmi uncovered the Redmi K40 Gaming – the first gaming-focused smartphone from the brand – and reports say that the tech giant is gearing to announce a lower chipset variant of the device.
Now, fresh news claims that the Redmi K40 Gaming smartphone would hit the Indian market as the POCO F3 GT.
It appears that the POCO F3 GT would debut alongside the POCO M3 Pro 5G.
Presently, POCO is yet to confirm the existence of these smartphones. However, an online retailer has listed the POCO F3 GT alongside its complete specs and pricing information.
The WelElectronics listing of the POCO F3 GT smartphone shows that it would retail for $1,299 (~Rs 95,000).
Speculations believe that the handset would sell for about Rs 25,000 (~$341) in India.
Therefore, it seems the pricing information of the phone on the website is incorrect.
Previous reports have revealed that it could arrive as a remake of the Redmi K40 Gaming, which debuted in India recently.
Talking specs, the listing of the POCO F3 GT carry identical specifications as the Redmi K40 Gaming.
It features a 120Hz 6.67-inch OLED display. The screen is guarded by the Gorilla Glass 5, and it offers the user a Full HD+ resolution.
The Dimensity 1200 chipset drives the POCO F3 GT. It has 6GB of RAM and generous onboard storage of 128GB, and it supports storage expansion via microSD card.
The POCO F3 GT houses a 5,065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
The handset may feature a 16-megapixel selfie shooter and a 64-megapixel rear camera system. It remains to be seen whether the POCO F3 GT will feature gaming trigger buttons as well.
