Finally, OPPO officially took the covers off the much-anticipated Reno5 K smartphone. The handset debuted as a new chipset variant of the OPPO Reno5 5G.
Interestingly, OPPO offers the new device in a new colour variant – green.
Specifications of the OPPO Reno 5K
The OPPO Reno5 K comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel that has a punch-hole design. The 90Hz screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixel.
It features an under-display fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device.
The handset sports the Snapdragon 750G SoC. It has 8GB of RAM and a generous storage of 128GB.
It houses a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
The Reno5 K has a 32-megapixel front-facing snapper that allows the user to take selfies and make video calls.
The rear camera of the OPPO Reno5 K comprises a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth lens.
For software, the handset ships with the ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 OS.
The design of the Reno5 K smartphone looks similar to that of the Reno5 5G. It has a slim profile, and it weighs 180grams – pretty light.
It supports connectivity options like dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB-C port.
Other features of the OPPO Reno5 K are a 3.5mm audio port and support for storage expansion via microSD card.
Presently, the brand is yet to disclose the pricing details of the OPPO Reno5 K. However, the handset’s sale will begin in China starting March 6.
Customers will have the option to purchase the Reno5 K smartphone in colours like starry dream, green breeze, and midnight black.
