A couple of months backs, reports about an upcoming OPPO smartphone series hit the internet. Speculations believe that the new smartphone series would come as the successor of the Reno4 lineup.
The leaks mentioned that the series is named the OPPO Reno5, which the Chinese company later confirmed.
After lots of leaks, the smartphone manufacturer finally took the covers off the Reno5 series about two weeks ago.
The smartphone lineup consists of the OPPO Reno5 5G, the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G, and OPPO Reno5 Pro+ 5G.

Now, a fresh piece of information hints that the tech giant will announce the fourth member of the Reno5 series on December 30.
The fourth member, a 4G variant of the Reno5, would arrive in Vietnam on December 30. Now, the same phone is scheduled to hit the Indonesian market on January 12.
The Reno5 4G comes with lowered specs compared to the Reno5 5G. Unlike the Reno5 5G, it features the Snapdragon 720G chipset, and reports have it that it would arrive in other Asian markets soon.
Meanwhile, the handset appeared in a review video on YouTube, and its rumoured specs are out.
According to rumours, the upcoming OPPO Reno5 4G would arrive with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and produces a Full HD+ resolution.
The display would sport a punch-hole for the selfie shooter and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Concerning the build, the Reno5 4G’s chassis is of plastic and glass materials. The backside is covered with a glass panel, and the mid-frame is plastic in nature.
For backup, the rumour revealed that the handset would carry a 4,310mAh battery that has support for the 1st generation 50W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Talking lenses, the OPPO Reno5 4G may feature a 44-megapixel selfie shooter and a 64-megapixel quad-camera system on its rear panel.
The later may comprise of other cameras such as a super-wide 8-megapixel snapper, and a pair of 2-megapixel sensors.
