China-based smartphone manufacturer, Oppo has launched compelling smartphones thus far and the company seems all geared up to release its latest handsets on 17th March. The latest offerings include Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus.

Both smartphones have cleared the final hurdle before their launch, vis-a-vis TENAA certification. The TENNA details revealed the design as well as a few specs and features of the two devices.

Oppo’s latest devices do not feature the 2K screens and are also not powered by Snapdragon 820 processors as speculated earlier.

In fact, the revealed details impart that Oppo has been influenced by the design of iPhone 6s. The latest handsets by Oppo feature a metal build, round edges and are relatively slim at 6.5mm for Oppo R9 and 7.4mm for the R9 Plus version. In addition, they also sport a fingerprint sensor mounted in the home button.
