Oppo seems to be having a field day launching 5G units of recent and they are bringing us yet another one soon.
It was not quite long ago that the company introduced an A74 5G unit for those in India. As of the time of this writing, the company is planning on bringing yet another 5G device to the same market.
To be dubbed the Oppo A53s 5G, this unit is billed to have a Dimensity 700 chipset under the hood and ship with a triple camera setup on the back.
Some viewers who have had a keen look at the unit believes that it could be a renamed and reworked Oppo A55 5G which made its way to China earlier this year. If that is true, it would not be the first time that a smartphone brand would launch the same/ similar units in different markets under different names, although we don’t get why they do that at all.
For now, it is a waiting game to see the rest of the specs that the unit brings to the fore. Expected to sell exclusively via FlipKart in India after the launch, the launch price has been pegged at INR15,000 – an equivalent of $200.
