Oppo has been faithful to a monthly timeline with which it has been moving different devices to the Android 11 (ColorOS 11) level.
Now, they are moving to take the same update to their Oppo A53 units but they need some beta testers to make the process happen. Thus, the company is recruiting wiling users who want to get the unstable build and help them make it better before everyone else gets their hands on it.
The oppo A53 is the fifth/ final handset on a list of five units that the OEM was supposed to open beta registrations for. While everyone with a unit might want to join, the first phase of the beta testing program is for users in India and Indonesia alone.
It seems these will be the region to get the update first also, and we don’t know when next they will open registrations for other parts of the world.
For now, users who want to register for a chance to test the beta version with/ for the company should do the following:
- Head over to your settings dashboard
- Click on the Software Update tab
- Click on the Gear icon
- Tap on Apply for Beta version
- Click Update beta version
This registration is for limited users only and is currently scheduled to stay live between now and May 11. If you are serious about getting an early peek, now is the best time to register
