Oppo might be waiting till May 6 to bring the new K9 unit to the market, but Chinese retailer JD.com do not have that patience. They have, thus, listed the unit on their platform – although it cannot be bought yet but can be secured on a pre-sale.
The device is billed to ship with a main 64MP camera on the back, pack a massive 4300mAh battery with impressive 65W charging and come in options of 8/128GB or 8/256GB. Besides that, the JD listing also shows that the unit is being offered in two colours – black and gradient.
We have no idea if those would be the only hue picks on this unit, or that is just kept there till things get interesting after launch.
No matter which it is, we know that the unit will support 5G out of the box. It is surprising that they did not mention what chipset is running under the hood, though.
The launch is taking place in China so the price tag of CNY 1999 for the base model is expected to jump in other markets. For reference, this translates to about $307 as of the time of this writing.
