Oppo brought an A55 5G to the market earlier in the year and they will follow up on that launch with a 4G variant of the same phone billed to launch in October. According to an Amazon India listing, we now know what the device will look like at the time of launch.
Note that the listing does not come with the A55 name, only indicating that this device belongs to the A-series from the manufacturer. However, the rest of the promotional material confirms that this is the unit we are dealing with.
The design elements show a phone with a 6.51-inch screen, packing three cameras on the back and a single 16MP shooter on the front. The selfie snapper is designed inside a cut-out on the top left section of the screen.
For biometrics, there will be a side mounted fingerprint sensor on the phone. You can also get more from the phone with a Face Unlock tech on board so you don’t have to commit to passwords all the time. Supposed to retail in Rainbow Blue and Starry Black colours, it is suggested that the phone will carry as much as 5000mAh in the battery section.
The official launch date is set for Friday, October 1, but we might learn more about the device before then.
