Towards the end of last month, OPPO took to Indonesia to unveil the OPPO A33 smartphone.
Not long ago, a poster that contains information about the OPPO smartphone was shared on YouTube. It states that the OPPO A33 smartphone has launched officially in India.
The OPPO A33 comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display that supports a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio, and it promises to deliver an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 460 mobile platform SoC powers the OPPO A33 smartphone. It arrives with 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of native storage.
It features a dedicated MicroSD card slot for the user to expand storage.
The OPPO A33 is similar to the OPPO A53 in terms of specifications and build. However, the OPPO A53 has higher RAM options like 4GB / 6GB and increased storage space such as 64GB / 128GB.
Besides that, all other specs of the two smartphones are similar.
The OPPO A33 sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera in its on-screen punch-hole. It features a rectangular camera module that consists of a 13-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth assist sensor, on its back panel.
The OPPO A33 boots to Color OS 7.2 based on Android 10 OS. It houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging.
It has support for connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
For security, the OPPO A33 comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.
The OPPO A33 arrived in India with a price tag of Rs 11,990 (~$163).
