OnePlus starts rolling out battery optimising fix to the 7/ 7 Pro units

OnePlus has excelled in launching some of the best devices and further optimising them with updates so that they work better. At most times, these phones don’t launch at their full capacity with some camera or battery or other improvements there to be made.

Fortunately, OnePlus continues to push updates to their devices years after the launch. As of the time of this writing, users of the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro are in for a treat as they are now getting another update. Note that this device has been getting more than the monthly security patches and with this one, we see improvements in the battery department.

Carrying the OxygenOS 11.0.2.1 tag, this update is promised to reduce the power consumption issues on the unit and also fix some bug crashes which certain users have on their own units.

For now, the update is being rolled out in batches so it can be sure that it doesn’t break something else. In the coming days, we believe that all users of these devices should get the bump to the new update. Barring any poor developments on the software version, that is.
