If you happen to have one of the OnePlus flagships from last year, you are in for a treat.
The brand has started rolling out the June security update to all of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro units. This comes as a beta software for now, so don’t expect anything to be stable as of yet. The OnePlus 8T also gets the same treatment, but the beta update signing here is different from what the former two devices are getting.
On all devices, though, you also get screenshot functions for the Always on Display. Since the phones have lasted more than a year in the market now, it is just natural that OnePlus brings battery improvement updates for their users.
Likewise, the changelog for all three units is same even though the titles on the beta updates are different for them.
If you have already installed the Open Beta build on your unit, you should start getting these updates and notifications soon. For those of you who don’t already have them, that is. If you would like to take part in the beta testing rather than wait for the stable rollout, you can still get in on the Open Beta modules too.
