Recently, a few reports claiming that Vivo is working on a new smartphone hit the internet space. The publications mentioned the phone as Vivo S9 5G.
The phone would arrive as the successor of the Vivo S7 5G that launched last year.
Meanwhile, the brand is yet to confirm the existence of the Vivo S9 5G smartphone. None of the firm’s social channels has said a word regarding the handset.
However, a recent leak mentioned that the Vivo S9 5G handset would officially debut on March 6 – the authenticity of the information remains questionable.
Interestingly, a reliable tech tipster shared an offline poster of the upcoming Vivo S9 series over the weekend.
The image revealed the design of the phone. And it stated that the handset would feature a 44-megapixel selfie snapper.
Speculations say that the upcoming smartphone series would sport the same notched display on the Vivo S7 5G.
It appears the handset would also borrow the 44-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual selfie camera setup on the Vivo S7 5G.
The poster image shows that the Vivo S9 5G has an identical design with the earlier released Vivo S7 5G.
It further shows that its rear side has a rectangular camera module featuring three lenses.
The text on the Chinese text on the poster translates to ‘’S9 series.’’ Therefore, it is safe to assume the Vivo S9 5G would launch in multiple variants.
Previous reports have mentioned that the upcoming series will feature the latest Dimensity 1100 5G chipset, a 90Hz display, and a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup.
