Recently, reports got out that Nubia is working on its next-generation smartphone – Nubia Red Magic 6.
Currently, there is no information on the launch and availability of the upcoming device. However, we do know that the smartphone would arrive with an improved cooling system.
Meanwhile, Nubia’s brand manager – Ni Fei – recently took to Weibo to announce that the next-gen Nubia gaming smartphone would pack a revamped cooling system.
Ni Fei also revealed that the handset would feature a strengthened and powerful fan. And a nine-axis spatial sensor that tracks the phone’s movement in multiple directions.
The Nubia executive further shared a video that shows the handset floating in space.
The clip doesn’t mean the upcoming Red Magic smartphone would have the ability to float. Instead, it describes the improvement on the cooling system.
In January, Nubia announced a strategic partnership with Tencent Games.
Speculations have it that the smartphone maker is joining forces with Tencent to deliver a better gaming experience on the Nubia Red Magic 6.
Claims say the new cooling solution may be part of the new features the next-gen smartphone would pack.
Asides from allowance for better performance under load, we anticipate that the fan might come in handy in cooling the handset during charging.
Not too long ago, the Red Magic 6 smartphone got certified to support 120W of fast charging.
If the reports are legit, the cooling system will help maintain the phone’s temperature when charging and in use.
The 120W charging support may come with the Red Magic 6 Pro, and the standard variant may feature a moderate 66W charging support.
