Nubia just announced a limited model of the Red Magic 5G Transparent Edition for the Chinese Market. The fascinating feature of this smartphone variant is the transparent glass present on its rear panel and the 16GB of RAM under the hood.
Just like the other variants of the Nubia Red Magic 5G smartphone, this new transparent edition also features the same specifications, but it comes with a unique design and a whooping LPDDR5 16GB RAM just as found in the high-end variant of the regular phone.
Taking a closer look at the transparent back panel, it has a design showing the fake components of the phone, just like the Explorer editions of the Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Mi 9.
This device will arrive with a 6.65-inch AMOLED capacitive display which offers a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Under the hood, the Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 processor will power this device.
As for the camera, an 8MP selfie snapper is present on the front of the device while the back is graced with a triple camera system which includes, a 64MP wide-angle sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, and 2MP macro sensor.
The Nubia Red Magic 5G Transparent Edition is equipped with a 4,500mAh non-removable Li-Po battery and carries support for fast charging.
In terms of storage, the Transparent edition of the Red Magic 5G will arrive with 128GB and 256GB storage choices.
Unfortunately, the Red Magic 5G Transparent Edition is currently limited to China so it will be impossible for interested customers outside China to get a hold of this smartphone.
As of now, the brand is yet to reveal if the phone will ever be made available outside China.
