The flagship devices on the market currently have a ceiling standard of 90Hz screen refresh rate, and that has been all a lot of fans could talk about for a long time now. As is common with smartphone tech, though, the world is already looking forward to the next best thing.
That is why OEMs have started working towards the introduction of 120Hz screen refresh rate on their coming devices. Well, all except ZTE who have gone all the way to make sure their next flagship will debut the 144Hz refresh rate.
This is not one of those leaks or rumors either, seeing as the cofounder and president of the company was the one to confirm this development by himself. This tech is to be featured on the upcoming Nubia Red Magic 5G which is expected to launch sometimes in Q1 this year.
As of the time of this writing, not much has been said of the Nubia Red Magic 5G. What we know for sure, though, that this is going to be the first gaming smartphone from the company – and it will also feature top of the line specs while being 5G ready at the time of launch.
