Nokia came to be known for their prowess in the budget phone market, and even though they are foraying into the flagship scene these days too, they have not lost track of their work in the former niche.
That has seen the new addition of a Nokia G20 to an already impressive list of budget smartphones from the HMD-owned OEM. Right now, we expect that the G20 go on sale soon – and it seems that the Indian market is where the OEM is looking to start.
According to an Amazon listing, the phone will sell for an equivalent of under $210. When the phones make it to other markets, the price might be more than that due to the fact that shopping fee, VAT and other duties might have been tacked onto it.
For that price, users get a device that starts with 4GB of RAM and pairs that with 64GB of internal storage space to match. There will be a higher priced option that sells for the price above and comes in the 128GB option instead.
From the Amazon listing, which has since been taken down, the device is also expected in colour options of Blue (named Night) and White (named Glacier). For all of that, Nokia has also added the chance to get two years of software updates on this device.
Pre-orders are billed to start later this week and we do hope that the price remains constant when the purchase link goes live.
