Google has released its most awaited cellphones, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X that run the latest Android version Marshmallow.
In his statement, Andrei Popescu, Google’s Android team engineer said:
“The Nexus phones are the implementation of the perfect android phones. It is a platform for the software developers to show off their skills of the new android Marshmallow.”
The newly launched LG Nexus 5X features a 5.2 inches HD screen with high resolution of 1080 pixels, a density of 423ppi (pixels per inch) and is secured by the latest Gorilla Glass 3.
The cellphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor that has been coupled with 2GB RAM and 16 or 32 GB built-in memory variants.
The 16GB variant will hang a price tag of £339 while the 32 GB variant will cost £379. The Nexus 5X will hit the markets of UK on 16th October.
The Huawei Nexus 6P is the Chinese manufactured Google device that features a 5.7 inches 2K AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 518ppi and protected by latest Gorilla Glass 4 that was also observed in Samsung Note 5 and Samsung S6 series.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM.
This phone will appear in three variants including the 32, 64 or 128GB of storage devices. It will be encased in an aluminum casing, arriving in black, silver and white colors.
The 32GB Nexus 6P will cost £449, 64 GB variant will hang a tag of £499 while 128GB variant will be priced at £579 in the UK.
The Nexus smartphones have executed a new line of Samsung’s latest android series that promises to enhance efficiency, provide better assistance and support more features like motion sensor and voice recognition module etc.
Marshmallow is to compete other Operating Systems especially iOS and to that end Google is updating the version continuously to keep itself in the race.
