Motorola has been developing some phones in the camera line, and the latest one is this One Macro which just launched. As the name implies, the phone is more dedicated to achieving better macro photography, and that is just what it does.
When it is not busy being a macro camera, the device carries a 6.2-inch screen which carries an 8MP selfie camera inside the waterdrop notch on the front. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset which is supported by a Helio P70 chipset out of the box. Users get as much as 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, all powered by a 4000mAh battery.
Surprisingly, this is not an Android One phone, even though it has that in its name. What it does, though, is run on a tweaked version of the Android 9 which is promised to get to Android 10 sometimes this year. We wait to see if Motorola makes good on that promise.
Finally, we talk about the rear cameras – which come in a triple camera setup consisting the 13MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor and another 2MP snapper for the macro shots. For an entry level device, that is surely some specs to look at.
