Motorola, a Lenovo-owned company, launched a new G8 series smartphone – Moto G8 Power Lite in Europe last month. The smartphone company has confirmed that the phone will launch in the Indian market on May 21.
As expected, the Moto G8 Power Lite will sell through the well-known online store, Flipkart. Flipkart has commenced the promotion of the upcoming phone and even created a microsite, highlighting the smartphone’s key features.
The Moto G8 Power Lite sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD Max Vision panel display. This display supports the HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio—the MediaTek Helio P35 processor powers the device alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB of in-built storage.
On the rear, the device features a vertically oriented triple camera setup made up of a 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP selfie camera that supports face-beauty, HDR, and bokeh video is found on the front of the device.
The smartphone also sports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device. The Moto G8 runs on the latest Android 9 Pie OS and features Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, MicroUSB 2.0, and 3.5m audio jack.
The device comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
The Moto G8 has been priced at 169 Euros, which approximates to ₹13,890. The Indian pricing of this device is yet to be announced, but we expect the prices to be similar.
