Micromax Canvas Pulse 4G With 3GB RAM & Octacore chip launched for Rs. 9,999

Indian consumer electronics company, Micromax, has launched a new 4G smartphone into the Indian marketplace.

The new smartphone is the Micromax Canvas Pulse 4G and it is already on sale in the Asian country via Flipkart exclusively for Rs. 9,999 (approximately 30,000 Naira).

This is the third phone the company will launch this month-  the Canvas Mega (E353) and Canvas Mega 4G (Q417) were launched a week ago.

The new Micromax Canvas Pulse 4G smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and comes with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display.

It is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6753) processor which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. This will offer a great experience when running HD games and it’s expected to handle multitasking effortlessly.

The Micromax Canvas Pulse 4G comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which the company said can be further expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB.

The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while a 5 megapixel camera is in front for taking selfies.

Connectivity options on the phone are 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The phone supports Indian LTE bands and also comes with dual-SIM dual standby support.

The Micromax Canvas Pulse 4G packs sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It is powered by a 2100mAh battery and will be available in Black colour.

Vineet Taneja, CEO of Micromax Informatics Ltd said during the launch of the phone.

“Our strategic partnership with Flipkart has helped us consolidate our strong foothold in the value for money segment of the online channel and with this launch we are aiming to target the premium segment of our target audience,”

the CEO added.
