A few days into the month, an OPPO device with model number PERM10 bagged approval from TEENA and the 3C certification authority of China. Following the certifications, tech enthusiasts proposed an imminent launch.
The rumor mill has it that the upcoming OPPO PERM10 smartphone would soon hit the Chinese markets under the name OPPO K9s.
A Chinese tipster – WHY LAB – has shared the posters of the upcoming OPPO K9s smartphone online, and the image on the posters reveals that the handset would feature the Snapdragon 778G mobile platform, a 120Hz display, and an X-axis linear motor for an enhanced gaming experience.
Specifications of the OPPO K9s (alleged)
The TEENA listing of the OPPO K9s reveals that it will come with a 6.59-inch LTPS panel that promises an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels. And it will run on the Android 11 OS.
Inside, the handset will carry the Snapdragon 778G alongside 8GB / 12GB of RAM. The leak mentions that the smartphone will offer the user 128GB / 256GB of in-built storage and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
The OPPO K9s may arrive with a 4,880mAh battery. And its 3C listing hints that it may debut with support for 30W rapid charging.
Meanwhile, the OPPO K9s’ rear panel houses a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The phone’s front side features a 16-megapixel front-facing snapper that allows the user to take selfies and make video calls.
