Last year, HTC unveiled two devices under the desire series – Desire 20 Pro and Desire 20+. Both devices arrived as mid-range handsets with attractive specs.
Now, it seems the Taiwanese tech firm is gearing up to announce a new Desire-branded device called the HTC desire 21 Pro 5G.
Interestingly, the live images of the upcoming handset have appeared online. Hence, the design and a few of its details are no longer a mystery.
Last month, the company took the covers off the HTC U20 5G. The handset arrived as the first 5G-ready phone from the brand. The Desire 21 Pro 5G will launch as the second 5G-enabled phone from the brand.
The live shots reveal that the Desire 21 Pro 5G phone is placed in a green-coloured case. Present on the right side is the volume rockers and the power button.
However, the images didn’t reveal the top and bottom sides of the phone. Therefore, it is unclear whether the phone would feature a 3.5mm audio jack.
At the front, it has a tall centre-positioned punch-hole display with a slightly thick bottom bezel. The rear side sports a rectangular-shaped camera module that appears to house four lenses and an LED flash.
Engraved on the camera housing is a text that reveals that the primary sensor has a resolution of 48-megapixel.
One of the leaked snapshots revealed that the phone carries the model number 2QAG100. And it supports dual SIM connectivity.
Other specs of the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G are under wraps. Hopefully, new reports revealing more about the phone would emerge as the launch nears.
