Chinese electronics company, Lenovo, has unveiled the Yoga 710 and the Flex 4 convertible notebooks as well as a 2-in-1 detachable tablet named as the Ideapad Miix 310. All the devices run Windows 10 operating system out of the box.
Unlike the Yoga 900S which was unveiled last, the freshly announced hybrids are mid-ranged devices and wouldn’t cut too deep into the pockets of prospective buyers.
The Lenovo Yoga 710 comes in 11-inch and 14-inch display sizes. The 11-inch model is priced at $499 (about 100,000 Naira) and the bigger sized 14-inch costs $799 (about 160,000 Naira). Both versions will hit the shelves starting from May 2016.
The notebook features a full-HD IPS display and comes in different configurations. There’s configurations of up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB SSD storage.
The 11-inch model additionally comes with an option to house any of the Intel Core M up to M5 processors. The 14-inch variant on the other hand can sport 6th-Gen Intel Core processors up to Core i7, and up to Nvidia GeForce 940MX graphics.
The Yoga 710 like other Yoga series comes with a keyboard that can rotate 360-degrees.
The Lenovo Flex 4 is known as the Lenovo Yoga 510 internationally. It will be hitting the shelves in April for a price tag of $599 (that’s about 120,000 Naira) for the 14-inch, and $699 (about 140,000 Naira) for 15-inch model.
It bears a full-HD display and comes in configurations up to Intel Core i7 SoC, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD storage, and AMD Radeon R7 M460 2GB GPU. The company claims the notebook’s battery can deliver up to 8.5 hours up time.
A detachable 2-in-1 tablet was also announced. The Lenovo ideapad MIIX 310 is a 10-inch device which boasts a 10-hour battery according to Lenovo.
It weighs 580 grams and can hold up to 64 GB of eMMC storage and 4 GB of DDR3L memory. The tablet will cost $229 (about 46,000 Naira) and is set to be available in June 2016.
It also comes with a detachable keyboard and users can opt to upgrade to a 4G LTE and FHD display version.
“We’ve infused the YOGA 710 and 510 convertible laptops and ideapad MIIX 310 detachable tablet with the features needed to meet the most mobile users’ demands for productivity, entertainment and design by giving you PC productivity,” Lenovo’s SVP for PC Business Group, Johnson Jia, said.
