Lenovo has launched three new smartphones – the Lenovo A1000, A6000 Shot, and K3 Note Music – in the smartphone marketplace in India.

The Lenovo A1000 sports a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) TFT-TN display and is powered by a Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz and Adreno Mail400 MP2 GPU.

These are paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).

The dual-SIM capable Lenovo A1000 supports 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0. It runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and comes with 2050mAh battery, which Lenovo says will last for up to 9 hours on a single charge.

Lenovo A1000 also comes with a 5-megapixel primary camera, a VGA shooter placed upfront and is available in Onyx Black and Pearl White.

The Lenovo A6000 Shot is similar to the Lenovo A6000 launched earlier this year, but has some substantial camera improvements.

Lenovo A6000 Shot has a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.2GHz. It sports an 306 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded.

Its main attraction are its camera sensors- it comes with a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with an LED flash and is accompanied with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

It also runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), is dual-SIM capable, has 4G Indian LTE bands, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and other connectivity options.

Lenovo A6000 Shot comes in Onyx Black, Pearl White, or a Carmine Red colour.

The Lenovo K3 Note Music looks more like the K3 Note, which Lenovo launched earlier this year, but with better speakers and sound technology (Dolby Atmos audio and ceramic speakers).

According to Lenovo, K3 Note Music is the world’s first handset to come with AnyWoofer technology.

It sports a 5.5-inch FHD (1920×1080) display with 178-degree wide viewing angle and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Lenovo K3 Note Music is powered by MediaTek MT6752 octa-core 1.7GHz SoC with Adreno Mali-T760 MP2 GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB.

K3 Note Music has dual-SIM capability and supports 4G LTE Indian bands on both SIM slots.

It also comes with a 3000mAh battery; a 3-megapixel rear shooter and a 5-megapixel sensor upfront just like the K3 Note.

The Lenovo K3 Note Music edition comes in Pearl White, Onyx Black, and Laser Yellow colors.

“Diwali (a Hindu festival in October) is when we see a substantial jump in sales and this is why we are launching the A1000 priced Rs 4,999, (15,600 Naira) A6000 Shot at Rs 9,999 (31,200 Naira) and K3 Note Music at Rs 12,999 (40,600 NGN) exclusively for our offline channel partners,”
