Previous reports have hinted that Lenovo is all set and ready to announce the Lenovo K12 smartphone officially.

The reports have it that the launch event will take place on December 9, which is tomorrow. Meanwhile, other reports are suggesting that the company is planning to launch multiple Lenovo-branded smartphones at the event.

Before now, a piece of leaked information claimed that the Lemon phones would debut as rebranded versions of the Motorola G and Motorola E series that recently launched in markets outside China.

Meanwhile, yesterday, one of the Lemon phones carrying the model number XT2091-7 appeared at the Geekbench benchmarking platform.

Before its Geekbench appearance, the XT2091-7 surfaced on TEENA. And the TEENA listing revealed its pictures and a few of its specifications.

Thanks to the TEENA listing, the leaked information suggested that the XT2091-7 may arrive as a remake of the Moto G9 Power.

Speculations have it that the XT2091-7 may debut as the Lenovo K12 in the global markets and Lenovo K12 Pro in China.

According to its Geekbench listing, the XT2091-7 handset may come with 4GB of RAM alongside the Snapdragon 662 processor.

The handset will come with the Android 10 OS pre-installed. In the single-core Geekbench test, the phone gathered 1520 points, and it recorded 5674 points in the multi-core test.

According to past reports, the phone would feature a square-shaped rear camera module but, as of now, the configuration of the lenses remains unknown.

Rumours have it that the Lenovo K12 Pro may debut with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display that produces an HD+ resolution.

It may also feature a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging support. For security, it’s likely the Lenovo K12 Pro come with a rear-fitted fingerprint sensor.
