Days after unveiling its flagship smartphone, the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, Chinese phone makers have launched a new device- the Lenovo A7000 Turbo in India.
The new smartphone is now listed on the company’s thedostore and interested folks can buy it for Rs. 10,999 (that’s about N33,000). Lenovo however announced that shipping of the handset will not start any time before Wednesday.
It is worthy to note that the Lenovo A7000 Turbo comes with specifications sported by Lenovo’s immensely popular K3 Note smartphone. Just like the Lenovo K3 Note, the Lenovo A7000 Turbo supports both LTE bands in India (FDD-LTE 1800MHz Band 3, and TDD-LTE 2300MHz Band 40).
The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop Operating System with a Vibe UI 2.0 skin on it. It sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) IPS display with an impressive pixel density of 401ppi.
The dual-SIM dual standby smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor which is coupled with 2 GB of RAM. With these engine specs, the phone will most likely offer prospective users great services.
The Lenovo A7000 Turbo’s high processor speed especially will come in handy when executing applications. It’s 2 GB memory will also deliver above average services when multitasking, hence lagging most likely won’t be experienced when running applications.
The A7000 Turbo also packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash while a 5-megapixel front facing camera is available for selfie lovers. Its inbuilt storage is 16GB, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card if more space is needed.
Apart from 4G LTE, other connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
The phone packs a 2900mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 39 hours of talk time on 2G and 16 hours on 3G, apart from 11 days of standby time.
The smartphone will be offered only in Matte Black colour.
