As the annual Double Eleven Chinese shopping festival draws closer, many smartphone manufacturers plan to launch new devices before the event. One of the brands in the launch race is OPPO, and the smartphone maker will be taking the covers of the OPPO K9s smartphone on October 20.
As speculated, a poster regarding the OPPO K9s smartphone has been leaked. And it mentions that the smartphone – alongside other OPPO devices – will feature in the Double Eleven shopping festival in China.
Meanwhile, the OPPO K9s handset is now available for reservations on retail sites like Suning and JD.com. And these Chinese retail sites have revealed that the phone will come in two variants – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
The sites further mentioned that the OPPO K9s would arrive in colors like Magic Purple Quicksand, Obsidian Warrior, and Neon Silver Sea.
Specifications of the OPPO K9s
The OPPO K9s smartphone will debut with a 6.59-inch LTPS display that promises a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The handset will ship with the Snapdragon 778G chip, up to 12GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. The phone features up to 256GB of onboard storage and carries support for storage expansion via a MicroSD card.
The OPPO K9s will house a 5,000mAh battery that may support 30W fast charging. The rear camera system comprises a 64-megapixel primary camera followed by an 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel supporting lenses.
Other features of the OPPO K9s include an X-axis linear motor for an improved gaming experience and a side-fitted fingerprint snapper.
