An upcoming Sony smartphone has leaked. The phone with the model number ‘’Sony A003SO’’ appeared in the database of Geekbench not too long ago.

According to the listing, the mystery smartphone would likely arrive as the Japanese model of the rumoured Xperia 10 III.

The Geekbench documents of the phone mentions that it has 6GB of RAM, and it will arrive pre-loaded with the Android 11 OS.

Under the hood, the phone features a Qualcomm processor. Presently, the processor remains a mystery.

However, the Geekbench listing states that the chipset has the codename ‘Lito,’ and it has a base frequency of 1.8GHz.

The upcoming Sony handset gathered 601 points and 1821 points in the single-core and multi-core tests.

According to Sumahoinfo, the details of the Sony A003SO suggests it would arrive as the Japanese model of the Xperia 10 III.

Meanwhile, claims believe that the lito SoC could be a Snapdragon 600 series processor.

A few other reports claimed that the smartphone would debut with the Snapdragon 690 5G chipset – it falls under the Snapdragon 600 series as earlier speculated.

Meanwhile, a reliable tipster shared the CAD renders of the Xperia 10 III sometime last month.

The render mentioned that the phone has the dimension 154.4 x 68.4 x 8.3mm. It sports a 6-inch display and dual front-facing speakers.

The display of the Xperia 10 III has sizeable bezels around it. And it packs a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

From indications, it appears there won’t be much difference between the design of the Xperia 10 III and its predecessor.

The phone’s rear camera setup comprises a 12-megapixel primary sensor followed by an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel super-wide camera.

Speculation say Sony has scheduled the launch of the Xperia 10 III for February. However, the exact launch date remains undisclosed.
