Last weekend, Itel took to India to unveil the Vision 1 Pro smartphone. The entry-level handset has stormed the Indian market to rival other smartphones like the Lava Z2 and Micromax In 1B.
The name of the latest Itel release reveals it as an upgraded edition of the Itel Vision 1 that debuted in 2020.
Specifications of the Itel Vision 1 Pro
The all-new Vision 1 Pro comes with a moderate 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel that features a waterdrop notch design.
The screen of the Vision 1 Pro sports a 2.5D curved glass for protection, and it produces 720 x 1600 pixels of HD+ resolution.
It has a slightly thick bezel below the screen. And according to the firm, the Vision 1 Pro offers the user a 90% screen-to-body ratio.
On the front side, the handset features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that allows the user to take selfies and make video calls.
Meanwhile, the rear panel sports a rectangular camera module that consists of three cameras and an LED flash unit. The lenses include an 8-megapixel primary camera and a pair of VGA lenses.
Itel claims that the latest Vision 1 Pro smartphone can capture quality, enhanced, and brighter HDR shots with premium clarity, even in low light.
Inside, a mysterious 1.4GHz Cortex-53 quad-core processor drives the Vision 1 Pro. It arrives with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The phone comes pre-installed with the Android 10 (Go edition), and allows for storage expansion via microSD card.
For security, the Itel Vision 1 Pro supports face unlock and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Vision 1 Pro relies on a 4,000mAh battery for backup. It’s unclear whether the battery has support for fast charging. However, Itel mentioned that the battery promises 7 hours of video playback, 35 hours of music playback, and 800 hours of standby time.
Pricing and Availability of the Itel Vision 1 Pro
The Vision 1 Pro smartphone costs Rs 6,599 (~$90) in India. It is available in colour options like ocean blue and aurora blue.
