Intex has released a new budget smartphone, the Intex Cloud Breeze, in India at a price of Rs. 3,999 (that’s about 12,000 Naira).
The smartphone is already up for grabs and is easily available to buy exclusively from Snapdeal, an e-commerce website. It has also been listed on the company website. It is available in Black colour only.
The Intex Cloud Breeze is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that runs the old Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box. It comes in a 5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) TN screen with Gorilla Glass protection.
Under the hood, there’s a dual-core MediaTek MT6572W processor clocked at 1.2GHz and clubbed with 1GB DDR2 RAM.
The phone houses 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. However users would get 5.8GB of internal storage as the rest will be taken by the OS.
When it comes to cameras, the Intex Cloud Breeze bears a 5 megapixel snapper on the rear with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. There’s also a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
The phone supports all the regular connectivity features including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, FM radio, and Micro-USB. Gravity, light, and proximity sensors are also present.
The Intex Cloud Breeze is 9.9mm slim and with its 2300mAh battery weighs 153.3 grams. According to Intex, the battery can deliver talk time of up to 4-6 hours and standby time of up to 20 days.
The device comes with some pre-loaded apps including Opera Mini, Clean Master, NewsHunt, Amazon, Chaatz, and others.
