Officially, the Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro have been launched in India today. The smartphone line up debuts with large sized punch-hole displays, massive batteries, and quad camera systems on the rear.
Both the Infinix Hot 9 and the Hot 9 Pro will sport a 6.6-inch display with support for HD+ resolution. The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and an 8-megapixel camera in the dedicated punch-hole at the top left corner of the display.
As for the security, we expected Infinix to adopt the in-screen fingerprint sensor design, but the fingerprint scanner is at the back of the device. The phone also carries support for face unlock.
On the back panel of the device is a rectangular-shaped module that houses the camera system. The module consists of a 13-megapixel main with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a low-light sensor.
Alongside the AI-powered quad-camera set up is a triple LED flash for capturing in low-light. The Hot 9 series will come pre-installed with Android 10 OS along with OXS 6.0.
The Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro will ship with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. Both phones will feature dual SIM slots, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, 4G VoLTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.
The Infinix Hot 9 duo will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. A massive 5,000maAh battery will serve as its source of power.
The Infinix Hot 9 will be available as from June 8 through Flipkart while the Pro variant will go on sale on June 5. The Hot 9 will be starting at Rs. 8,499 (~$112) while the Hot 9 Pro will be starting at Rs. 9,499 (~$125).
Both devices will debut in four color editions; Midnight Black, Ocean Wave, Quetzal Cyan, and Violet.
