Infinix has officially announced the Infinix Zero 8i smartphone in India. With a price tag of Rs (~$203) and a plethora of attractive features, the smartphone has arrived in the country to rival other mid-range devices.
The highlights of the Infinix Zero 8i includes a display with high refresh rate, a modest gaming-focused processor, and fast charging technology.
The Infinix Zero 8i packs a massive 6.85-inch screen that has a 90Hz refresh rate. Its display has an aspect ratio of 20.5:9, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and produces a Full HD+ resolution.
On the screen, it has a pill-shaped cutout that houses a 16-megapixel primary selfie shooter followed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.
The dual selfie camera supports features like beautification mode, AI portrait mode, and super night mode.
On the rear panel, the Zero 8i packs a rhombus-shaped camera module that houses the triple rear camera unit and a quad flash.
The module consists of a 48-megapixel primary shooter followed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper with a 119° FOV, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and of course, the flash unit.
The rear camera unit supports ultra-steady video recording, 4K video shooting, super night mode, and slow-motion video recording at 960fps.
Talking internals, the MediaTek-powered Helio G90T drives the Infinix Zero 8i. It comes with 8GB of RAM alongside 128GB of native storage.
The handset houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and comes pre-loaded with the XOS 7.0 based on Android 10 OS.
For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint sensor, which doubles as the power button.
In India, the Infinix Zero 8i hit the markets with a price tag of Rs 14,999 (~$203), and it is ready for pickup in colour options like black diamond and silver diamond.
The Infinix Zero 8i will go on sale for the first time in India on December 9 via Flipkart.
