Infinix Note 8 and Infinix Note 8i Launched in Kenya

Since the start of the second half of 2020, Infinix has been rolling out premium smartphones. In the last couple of months, the Chinese manufacturer has launched devices like the Infinix Note 7, Infinix Zero 8, and the Infinix Hot 10.

Now, the firm has taken to Kenya to announce the all-new Infinix Note 8 and Infinix Note 8i.

Both devices feature attractive specs. Without further ado, let’s dive into their respective specifications.

The Infinix Note 8

The Infinix Note 8 arrives with massive a 6.95-inch IPS LCD panel, which has a punch-hole design. For big-screen lovers looking to get a new smartphone, the Infinix Note 8 might be the one.

The screen offers the user with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, delivers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels, and a peak brightness of 480nits.

Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset powers the Infinix Note 8. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. It also features a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.

The pill-shaped cutout on its display houses a 16-megapixel camera and a depth sensor, which makes up the selfie camera setup.

On the backside, a quad-camera system, which consists of a 64-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI lens is present. The camera system also features a quad-LED flash.

For software, the Infinix Note 8 arrives with the latest edition of XOS 7.1 based on Android 10 OS. The phone depends on a 5,200mAh battery, which supports 18W charging, for its backup.

The Infinix has connectivity features such as dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio port.

The Infinix Note 8 will be available in Iceland fantasy, deepsea lustre, and silver diamond colour options.

The Infinix Note 8i

Unlike the Note 8, the Infinix Note 8i sports a smaller 6.78-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display, which supports HD+ resolution.

It has a single 8-megapixel front-facing camera in its on-screen punch-hole. On the rear panel, it packs a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup.

Other specs of the Infinix Note 8i are the same as that of the Infinix Note 8. The Note 8i will be available in ice diamond, obsidian black, and tranquil blue colour choices.
