Infinix Mobility has finally launched the much anticipated Infinix Hot 3 smartphone in Nigeria. You can now buy the phone on Konga.

Infinix had announced the smartphone two months ago, calling it a camera focused phone with a ‘soft flash,” and promoting it with the #PlayHot hashtag.

The Infinix Hot 3 is regarded as an upgrade to the Hot 2. It sports a 5.5 inches HD display and runs on Android Lollipop operating system with Infinix’s XUI on top. It has a back cover which is designed to fit the curve of the palm.

The smartphone has an 8 MP rear camera which utilizes OV8865 sensor and 5-element lens to enhance light intake for superior picture quality.

There’s also a 2MP front camera which Infinix says is capable of taking HD pictures. The selfie camera has an 84°wide-angle shooting range and a selfie soft light which provides an ambient environment for natural selfies.

The Infinix Hot 3 comes in two variants- there’s a 1GB RAM version and a 2GB RAM version. Both are powered by a MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor.

The phone has 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

There’s a 3000mAh battery on the phone which supports OTG and can be used to charge other phones.

The battery is touted to withstand 20 hour of talk time and 9 hours of continuous internet surfing. It also has dual SIM support and will be available in blue, pink, black and gold color options.

Infinix Hot 3 has been listed on Jumia Nigeria and is now available for preorders with pricing detail omitted. Konga on the other hand said the smartphone will be coming soon with a price starting from 23,000 Naira.

However, 3CHub, a smartphone store in Lagos has the device on display with a price tag of 27,000 Naira. One can then infer that the Infinix Hot 3 1GB version goes for 23,000 Naira and the 2GB variant costs 27,000 Naira.

Country manager Infinix Mobility, Bruno Lee, said:

“We are excited to be part of the brands changing the face of mobile usage in Nigeria with our smartphone collections. With Infinix HOT 3, we want consumers to see their phones as more than just a gadget but as an essential part of their everyday life with features that represent this. Our aim is to upgrade our consumer’s lifestyle with technology in the process of making Infinix a household name in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.

Infinix is arguably Africa’s most preferred brand and has had over 5 smartphone series successfully launched in different markets in Africa. Buy at Konga
