Infinix Mobility has finally launched the much anticipated Infinix Hot 3 smartphone in Nigeria. You can now buy the phone on Konga.

Infinix had announced the smartphone two months ago, calling it a camera focused phone with a ‘soft flash,” and promoting it with the #PlayHot hashtag.

The Infinix Hot 3 is regarded as an upgrade to the Hot 2. It sports a 5.5 inches HD display and runs on Android Lollipop operating system with Infinix’s XUI on top. It has a back cover which is designed to fit the curve of the palm.

The smartphone has an 8 MP rear camera which utilizes OV8865 sensor and 5-element lens to enhance light intake for superior picture quality.

There’s also a 2MP front camera which Infinix says is capable of taking HD pictures. The selfie camera has an 84°wide-angle shooting range and a selfie soft light which provides an ambient environment for natural selfies.

The Infinix Hot 3 comes in two variants- there’s a 1GB RAM version and a 2GB RAM version. Both are powered by a MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor.

The phone has 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

There’s a 3000mAh battery on the phone which supports OTG and can be used to charge other phones.

The battery is touted to withstand 20 hour of talk time and 9 hours of continuous internet surfing. It also has dual SIM support and will be available in blue, pink, black and gold color options.

Infinix Hot 3 has been listed on Jumia Nigeria and is now available for preorders with pricing detail omitted. Konga on the other hand said the smartphone will be coming soon with a price starting from 23,000 Naira.

However, 3CHub, a smartphone store in Lagos has the device on display with a price tag of 27,000 Naira. One can then infer that the Infinix Hot 3 1GB version goes for 23,000 Naira and the 2GB variant costs 27,000 Naira.
