Earlier in January, multiple leaks revealed that Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone under its latest series – Xiaomi Mi 11.
The reports mentioned that the device has the model number M2101K9AG, and it would officially launch as Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite.
Following the revelation, the phone started bagging approval from various certification platforms.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has received approval from authorities like SIRIM, EEC, IMDA, FCC, and the Bluetooth SIG.
The multiple certifications suggest that the device would launch soon, and it would be available globally.
Last month, the Indian variant of Mi 11 Lite with model number M2101K9AI got approval from the BIS authority.
The listing of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite handset show that it would arrive with support for 4G connectivity.
Interestingly, a fresh piece of information has revealed that the handset will also be available in the 5G-model.
Today, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite once again passed the IMDA certification. However, it is the 5G-variant this time.
Aside from its support for 5G, Wi-Fi, and NFC, the listing has no other information regarding the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G.
Presently, the differences between the two variants of the Mi 11 Lite are hidden. However, speculations assume that both variants will arrive with identical specs but different processors.
The FCC listing revealed that the 4G variant of the Mi 11 Lite would offer the user 128GB / 256GB of internal storage.
Rumours say both models would pack 6GB of RAM. The handsets would likely house a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite would ship with MIUI 12, and it supports Bluetooth 5.2.
Meanwhile, a few other reports speculated that the upcoming Mi 11 Lite would arrive with an LCD punch-hole display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
