A few weeks back, the Chinese and Indian markets welcomed the iQOO Z5 5G smartphone. Following the Z5 5G’s launch, fresh reports state that the tech giant will soon announce another Z-series smartphone in China.
The reports went the extra mile and revealed the name of the upcoming device as the iQOO Z5x. Fortunately, the alleged iQOO Z5x smartphone surfaced on TEENA’s database with a few images and specifications.
Meanwhile, a Vivo handset with model number V2131A recently got approval from the TEENA certification platform. And based on a recent IMEI database listing, speculations say that the V2131A handset may launch in China under the iQOO Z5x moniker.
The publication reveals that the phone has a dimension of 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.5mm, weighing 169 grams. The phone features a TFT panel that measures 6.58-inches, and it sports a top-centered punch-hole for the 8-megapixel front-facing snapper.
The backside of the phone comes with a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. Inside, the Vivo V2131A handset features an octa-core chip with a clock speed of 2.4GHz.
The phone relies on a 4,880mAh battery for backup. Thankfully, the phone’s 3C certification has revealed that the V2131A smartphone may debut with 44W fast charging.
The V2131A smartphone may arrive in 6GB / 8GB RAM options and 128GB / 256GB storage editions. The phone would ship with the Android 11 OS, a side-fitted fingerprint scanner, and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
Interestingly, the Google Play Console listing of the Vivo V2131A leaked a while back, and it mentioned that the phone would debut with the Dimensity 900 chipset. The rumor mill states that iQOO plans to announce the Z5x as the most affordable smartphone with the Dimensity 900 processor.
Already, a tipster teased that the iQOO Z5x will carry a price tag below 1,000 Yuan, and another source speculated that the device would debut before the end of the month.
