Chinese telecommunications company Huawei announced its high-end Smartphone flagship Mate 8 in China back in November 2015. Recently, at CES 2016 forum, the company came forth with more information regarding the price and worldwide availability of the device.
Huawei Mate 8 will hit the markets in 30 countries hanging a starting price of €599 for the 3GB/32GB model. While the 4 GB/64GB variant will set back the users €699.
The device will come in four color choices including Space Gray, Mocha Brown, Champaign Gold and Moonlight Silver.
In terms of specs, the Mate 8 by Huawei features a full HD 6-inches display with 1920 × 1080 pixels screen resolution. The device is powered by Huawei Kirin 950 processor along with Mali T880 GPU for graphics.
For storage, the Huawei Mate 8 packs in 3GB of RAM along with 32GB internal built-in memory. Whereas the 4GB variant comes with 64GB internal memory. Both the variants offer microSD card support to extend memory.
Huawei Mate 8 flaunts a dual-tone LED flash supported 16MP rear shooter that comes with Sony IMX298 sensor, OIS, PDAF and f/2.4 aperture and also an 8MP hearty front-facing snapper designed specifically to click selfies.
The high-end camera specs ensure that Huawei users will have an unforgettable experience with crystal sharp and clear images.
The smartphone also sports a Hybrid Dual SIM and also features a fingerprint scanner. In terms of connectivity, Huawei Mate 8 features 4G LTE connectivity, WIFI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac NFC, GPS and Bluetooth 4.2 LE.
Huawei Mate 8 sports 4000 mAh battery backup and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Emotion UI 4.0.
Huawei is now set to release its Huawei GX8 in the United States. GX8 is a newer edition of G7 and G8 that were previously released by the company. Priced at $350, the device will be available from Amazon as well as Huawei’s online store.
