Huawei might have been crippled by what the US is doing to them as a part of the ongoing trade war, but that is not stopping the Asian OEM from making some serious moves in the smartphone market.
Even though they might not be allowed to use the Android system as much as they would like to, the company still managed to sell over 7 million units of the Mate 30 devices in just 2 months. If this is compared to figures from last year, the company has achieved 75% more than what it managed on the Mate 20/ Mate 20 Pro.
Given the current status of the company – and the fact that they are still selling the phone mainly in China – these figures are highly impressive.
It should be noted that the Mate 30 family consists of the vanilla Mate 30/ Mate 30 5G and Mate 30 Pro/ Mate 30 Pro 5G. Combined with the special edition Porsche design, Huawei could be looking to smash more sales records soon.
